The entire timeline goes across 2 walls and covers 400″ of wall space.
Sherrye and Anthony, owners of The Cantina came, to Henco North wanting us to deign, print and install a timeline of Historic Biltmore Village where their restaurant is located. I worked directly with Sherrye on discussing presentation of the time line and what materials would work with her ideas. The timeline consists of laminated vinyl mounted to Dibond which is a Aluminum composite material. The metal prints come off the wall about 1″ while the line itself is cut vinyl to help give the timeline a bit of depth.
Most of the photos came from the local Library, not in great condition and ranging in a wide variety of colors. I converted all to greyscale except for the postcards which helped visually break up the middle of the timeline. Most were restored to give them a cleaner and more consistent look.
